Lot 628: Large Gold-Toned Multi-Strand Tribal Bib Necklace with Turquoise-Coloured Accents and Bell Charms
A large, multi-strand draped bib-style collar necklace of tribal aesthetic. The piece is constructed from multiple lengths of gold-toned base metal curb-link chain, arranged in a tiered, mesh-like web. The top edge features a row of circular links with a floral motif, each bezel-set with a round turquoise-coloured cabochon, likely of glass or composite material. Numerous small spherical bell charms are suspended from the junction points of the chains to provide movement and sound. The necklace is secured with a single lobster-style clasp attached to a length of curb chain, which bears no discernible hallmarks or maker’s marks.
