Lot 635: Two Zippo Windproof Lighters Including Boxed American Classic Model
A collection of two Zippo brand windproof lighters constructed from chrome-plated metal. The first lighter is housed in its original black presentation case with a velvet-lined interior and includes a printed safety instruction pamphlet stating Lighter does not contain fuel when shipped from factory. This lighter features a high-polish finish with ornate etched scrollwork and a central oval cartouche containing the text AN AMERICAN, zippo in a stylised script, and CLASSIC. The second lighter features a plain brushed metal finish and is shown with the internal chimney mechanism partially removed from the outer casing. The chimney exhibits the characteristic circular perforation pattern. The lid of the presentation box is marked with the Zippo logo and the phrase Distinctive Top.
