Lot 638: A Vintage Morris Ten Chrome-Plated Radiator Grille Surround
A vintage Morris Ten chrome-plated radiator grille surround, likely from the Series M production era. The automotive component is designed as a rounded rectangular shell with a centrally mounted badge at the top and a secondary badge to one side. The frame includes an internal horizontal support rod. The central badge is vertically oriented in a shield-shaped chrome mount, featuring the manufacturer’s name MORRIS printed vertically, a heraldic crest depicting a red ox crossing blue wavy lines (the Oxford coat of arms), and the number 10. A secondary circular badge is attached to the side, featuring the number 10 within a red enamelled circle. The piece is constructed from chrome-plated metal and is compatible with Morris Ten (10) Series cars.
