Lot 670: Himalayan Rock Salt Table Lamp Base
A large table lamp base crafted from a single, irregular block of natural pink Himalayan rock salt. The salt body displays a translucent, crystalline structure with varying saturation of pale pink and orange colours. The block is mounted onto a dark-stained, circular turned wooden base. The underside of the base features three recessed metal screws that secure the salt block and a central circular aperture for the insertion of a light fitting. This item is an incomplete lamp base, consisting of the mineral body and wooden mount only; it lacks all electrical components, including the power cord, bulb socket, and bulb. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or manufacturer labels visible on the item.
