Lot 672: Two items comprising a brass chamber oil lamp and a copper post horn
This lot consists of a brass hand-held chamber oil lamp and a copper post horn. The lamp features a circular saucer-style base with a single finger loop handle and a burner assembly with a thumbwheel for wick adjustment. It is fitted with a tall, slender, straight glass chimney. The underside of the brass base is stamped with characters reading MADE IN followed by characters that are not legible due to wear and tarnish. The post horn is a straight, conical copper instrument with a flared bell, fitted with a brass mouthpiece receiver and bell rim. It is decorated with a green and gold braided cord tied around the tube.
