Lot 788: A Handcrafted Tudor Style Two Storey Wooden Dolls House and Assorted Miniatures
A handcrafted two-storey wooden dolls house of Tudor design, featuring a black-and-white half-timbered facade, pitched gable roof, and lead-effect lattice windows. The exterior is fitted with miniature hanging flower boxes and the house features a hinged front panel opening to reveal the interior. The internal space is divided into two levels with exposed timber ceiling beams, a simulated red brick fireplace with a mantelpiece and fender, and slate-effect flooring to the ground floor rooms. The walls are finished with paint or wallpaper and decorated with miniature framed pictures, mirrors, and wall sconces. The interior is furnished at an approximate 1:12 scale with items including a red-and-white striped upholstered wing armchair and matching sofa, a wooden rocking chair, a dining table with Windsor-style spindleback chairs, a wooden display dresser, and various side tables.
