A solid pine blanket chest of rectangular form featuring a hinged top lid. The chest is finished in a clear honey-toned varnish that highlights the natural wood grain and knots. The design incorporates a projecting moulded edge around the lid and a matching moulded plinth base. The interior reveals a single, undivided storage compartment. No external hardware, such as handles or locks, is present. A yellow adhesive label is visible tucked under the plinth base, bearing the handwritten characters 850, H P P, and 72P. No other maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the item.
