Lot 822: A Handcrafted Tudor Revival Miniature Cottage and Contents Titled Eden's Edge
A handcrafted Tudor revival miniature cottage and contents titled Eden’s Edge, comprising a two-storey open-back dollhouse with a detailed interior and exterior. The structure features cream-coloured half-timbered gables, red brickwork sections, and leaded-effect diamond-pane windows. The exterior is decorated with applied textured foliage and floral accents, and a small wooden signpost to the front reads EDEN’S EDGE. The interior is divided into four rooms, furnished with a wooden four-poster bed, a porcelain bathroom suite, a red-stained hutch, and a natural wood garden bench. The lot includes three bisque porcelain dolls with painted features and fixed eyes, one dressed in a blue and white striped domestic uniform. An assortment of miniatures is provided, including blue and white transfer-ware ceramics, brass-tone tools, and woven baskets. Several porcelain vessels bear small blue character marks to the bases, though these are not legible as a name or brand.
