Lot 824: A White Painted Pine Welsh Dresser / Kitchen Sideboard and Rack
A white painted pine Welsh dresser / kitchen sideboard and rack, comprising a shelved upper section and a cupboard base. The upper rack features a scalloped frieze above two shelves, set against a tongue-and-groove style back panel. The shelves are fitted with small brass hooks, comprising five to the top shelf and six to the lower shelf. The base unit consists of a rectangular top over two drawers and two cupboard doors, each featuring recessed arched panels. It is constructed from solid pine, visible in the unpainted interior of the drawers and cupboard, and fitted with turned wooden knobs painted to match the body. There are no maker’s marks or stamps visible on the piece. A paper label is visible inside the left-hand drawer reading ‘danalogic G…’ and ‘User’, which appears to be a discarded user manual for a medical device rather than a furniture manufacturer’s label.
