Lot 827: A Regency Style Mahogany Twin Pedestal Dining Table
A Regency style mahogany twin pedestal dining table, comprising two D-end sections that join together to form a large rectangular surface. The tabletop is finished with mahogany veneers, featuring decorative crossbanded borders and a moulded edge. The supporting structure consists of two central turned pedestals, each set upon three splayed and tapered legs. These legs terminate in brass box caps with integrated casters. The piece is crafted in a traditional Regency fashion with clean lines and neoclassical proportions typical of mid-20th century reproductions. There are no maker’s marks, manufacturer labels, or signatures visible on the table.
