A Victorian ebonised display cabinet featuring two large doors, each set with four rectangular glass panes. The cabinet is constructed with prominent turned and fluted architectural columns at the corners, terminating in square block sections. The piece is finished in a dark stain or ebonised lacquer throughout. The doors are fitted with a single white ceramic or milk glass pull knob. The interior is lined with a cream-coloured paper bearing a repeating circular pattern. The item is shown lying on its back and appears to be the upper section of a larger piece, likely missing its original base or plinth. No maker’s marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the object.
