This lot consists of two 12-inch vinyl LP records featuring female vocalists. The first record is Joan Hammond Operatic Arias, released on the Music for Pleasure (mfp) label, an EMI subsidiary. The sleeve carries the catalogue number 2015 and bears printed logos for mfp music for pleasure and EMI. The second record is Kay Starr The Fabulous Favorites!, released on the Capitol Records label. The front sleeve lists the following tracks: Allez-Vous-En, Go Away, Wheel of Fortune, I’m the Lonesomest Gal in Town, Bonaparte’s Retreat, Comes-A-Long A-Love, Hoop-Dee-Doo, Mississippi, So Tired, The Rock and Roll Waltz, Half a Photograph, Foolin’ Around, and Side by Side. The logos for Capitol and EMI are printed in the top right corner. A pink circular adhesive sticker reading £2 is attached to the front of the Kay Starr sleeve. Both records are housed in single cardboard sleeves and are standard United Kingdom pressings.
