Lot 906: A Set of Four George III Style Mahogany Dining Side Chairs
A set of four George III style mahogany dining side chairs. Each chair is constructed with a shaped top rail over a decorative pierced and interlaced splat featuring a central quatrefoil cutout. The frames are raised on square-section legs joined by an H-stretcher. The chairs feature a drop-in seat design. One seat is upholstered in a light-coloured floral damask fabric, while the others are in various stages of disassembly, revealing the internal jute webbing and padding. No manufacturer labels, stamps, or maker’s marks are visible on the frames or undersides.
