Lot 940: British School, 19th Century 'A Pastoral Landscape with Sheep and Shepherd'
A framed reproduction on board depicting a pastoral scene in the nineteenth-century British tradition. The composition features a flock of sheep on a dirt path shaded by dense, leafy trees, with a central figure tending to the animals near a wooden fence. The artwork is presented in an ornate, moulded gilt wood frame with a rope-twist inner border and a foliate patterned outer edge. No signatures, dates, or inscriptions are visible on the front of the work. The reverse of the frame is not visible.
