Lot 988: A Mid-20th Century Oak Side-by-Side Five-Drawer Storage Cabinet
A low storage cabinet or chest of drawers constructed from oak with a medium golden-brown finish, dating to the mid-to-late 20th century. The piece features a rectangular frame with a flat top surface and five narrow drawers arranged side-by-side in a vertical orientation. The oak displays a prominent open grain throughout the drawer fronts and carcass. Each drawer is fitted with a single black-finished metal drop handle on a rectangular, hammered-effect backplate, mounted vertically. The cabinet is supported by solid side panels joined by a horizontal rail at the base. No maker names, signatures, or stamps are visible on the exterior of the piece.
