Lot 1024: A Stained Pine Open Wall Shelf / Dresser Top

This auction ended on 17 October 2026.

Start price: £10

Estimated price: £10 - £20

Buyer's Premium: 20%

A stained pine open wall shelf or dresser top in a traditional country fashion. The unit features an arched top section with a decorative frieze, supported by two small turned wooden spindle details to the front corners. Below, the piece contains three fixed shelves supported by shaped side corbels. The construction incorporates V-grooved tongue-and-groove backing boards throughout, finished in a honey-toned stain. The sides are open, and the top is finished with a simple moulded cornice. This piece is designed for wall mounting or as the upper section of a kitchen dresser. Two small circular holes are visible to the lower right of the backboard, likely previously used for securing the unit or where hardware was once attached.

Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
