Lot 48: A Set of Four Adjustable Steel and Aluminium Activity Table Legs

A set of four adjustable support legs, designed for use with educational activity or toddler tables. Each leg is constructed with a heavy-duty blue-painted steel outer tube featuring a rectangular baseplate with four triangular gusseted supports for added structural stability. A telescoping inner sleeve of silver-toned aluminium is perforated with height-adjustment holes, allowing for variable elevation secured by a single hex-head bolt on the outer housing. The legs are finished with blue plastic or rubber feet to protect flooring surfaces. A white adhesive label on one unit includes a small logo and text reading HCP Auctions South West and Lot 048, while another leg bears a green-tinted adhesive label marked 99/25 in handwritten ink. No manufacturer capacity ratings or safety certifications are visible on the units.

Condition report:

The legs show signs of moderate industrial use throughout. There are multiple areas of paint loss, surface scratches, and scuffs to the blue powder-coated finish on all four units (photo 1). Some light oxidation and surface rust are present on the steel baseplates and around the adjustment bolts (photo 3). The aluminium telescoping sleeves exhibit typical surface marking and minor oxidation from adjustment. The plastic feet show scuffing to the undersides but remain intact (photo 2).
