Lot 603: A Trio of Victorian Style Bisque Porcelain Collector Dolls
Not sold
A trio of contemporary collector dolls in the Victorian fashion, each featuring a bisque porcelain head, hands, and lower legs on a soft cloth body. The first doll is dressed in a multi-layered cream and white dress with lace trimmings, brown velvet-style accents, and three decorative buttons on the bodice, completed with a matching wide-brimmed bonnet. The second doll, seated on a white plastic stand, wears a teal dress with a beige jacket featuring lace-trimmed cuffs, a faux pearl strand, and a fabric rose. The third doll is styled in a ballerina or fairy costume with a layered pink and lavender tulle skirt, metallic gold mesh wings, and floral bodice accents, wearing pink ribbon-tie ballet slippers. Each doll is fitted with a synthetic ringlet wig in shades of brunette or chestnut and features fixed inset acrylic eyes with applied lashes. A white adhesive paper label bearing the handwritten number 8505 is attached to the jacket of the center doll. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the porcelain or garments.
