Sold for: £22
A collection of chrome-finished British police uniform accoutrements, primarily associated with the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and dating from the post-1953 reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The lot features two large star-shaped helmet plates and two circular wreath-style cap badges. Each plate is embossed with the text DEVON & CORNWALL CONSTABULARY around a central circular boss featuring the Royal Cypher EIIR for Elizabeth II Regina. The collection includes four cockscomb or ball-top helmet mounts in a bright chrome finish. Also present is a substantial quantity of uniform buttons in both chrome and brass-toned finishes, the chrome examples matching the constabulary insignia. Further miscellaneous items include a shield-shaped badge, various clips, and a black metal mounting bracket.
