A collection of silver-plated tablewares and flatware, including two trays, a decorative dish, and a selection of cutlery. The circular gallery tray features a pierced openwork rim and a chased foliate and floral pattern to the centre. The second tray is of elongated oval form with a beaded rim and a textured, hammered-effect surface. A small silver-plated dish is shaped as a vine leaf with a stalk handle. The flatware comprises a mixed group of spoons and forks in Old English and Fiddle patterns. One spoon handle bears the impressed mark EP in a shield, followed by the word ENCORE, the maker mark T T and CO in rectangular cartouches, and a Gothic-style letter W, identifying it as a product of Thomas Turner and Co of Sheffield. The lot also includes a cast metal wall-mounted spigot fixture.
