A vintage circular sewing basket from the mid-20th century, featuring a woven wicker or cane exterior with a light cream finish. The hinged lid is padded and upholstered in a floral print fabric, displaying a pattern of pink, purple, and yellow blossoms with green foliage on a cream ground. The basket is equipped with a raised wicker handle and a loop closure to the side. The interior is lined with a white decorative trim and contains a clear plastic insert tray. Included within the basket is an assortment of sewing notions: spools of thread in green, blue, and coral tones; various loose pins and needles; a metal thimble; and a blue plastic adhesive tape dispenser bearing the printed brand name Sellotape. The lot is accompanied by a small brown suede pouch and a paper packet partially printed with the name TRACY BE.
