A rectangular storage trunk constructed from woven rattan with a warm reddish-brown finish. The chest features a tight vertical weave pattern throughout the body and lid, reinforced by thicker cylindrical wicker supports at the edges and corners for structural integrity. The lid is secured by two bright-finished metal hinges. A rectangular hand-hold cutout is integrated into the front panel to facilitate transport and opening. The interior contains a heavy wool trade-style blanket, featuring a cream base decorated with wide horizontal bands in variegated shades of brown, grey, and charcoal. A small white rectangular adhesive label is present on the lower front corner of the wicker body, but the characters are not legible as a maker’s name or brand. No other manufacturer marks, stamps, or labels are visible on either the trunk or the blanket.
