Lot 835: A Maximalist Demi-Lune Console Table with Leopard Print Inset
Not sold
A demi-lune console table featuring a bold maximalist design and polychrome finish. The semi-circular top is inset with a leopard-print patterned material, possibly vinyl or fabric, enclosed by a raised turquoise-painted gallery edge. The table is supported by a single, central cabriole leg featuring a carved acanthus leaf motif and a scrolled foot, finished in red with a blue-and-gold decorative panel accented by clear and black rhinestones. The structure is further supported by two rectangular pink-painted struts, all of which rest upon a large semi-circular orange-painted plinth base. The piece exhibits a vibrant, eclectic aesthetic characteristic of upcycled folk-art or contemporary maximalist furniture styles. A small circular gold-coloured sticker is visible on the underside of the orange base, though it bears no legible text. A white adhesive label is present on the top gallery edge reading 46717.
Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
