An Edwardian mahogany two-tier tea table of folding drop-leaf construction. The rectangular top features two hinged leaves that extend to provide a larger surface area. The frame is supported by square-section legs with reeded detailing to the outer edges. The lower section incorporates a fixed second tier, with both levels featuring decorative spindle-turned gallery rails between the supports. A small rectangular metal label is affixed to the interior frame reading T J A X followed by a decorative dot. The wood displays a rich reddish-brown tone throughout the frame and spindle tiers, while the top surface exhibits a visible grain.
