Lot 902: A Trio of Honey Pine Bedroom Chests
A trio of solid pine bedroom chests in a traditional rustic fashion, comprising one large chest of drawers and a pair of matching two-drawer nightstands. The set is constructed from solid pine with a clear honey-toned finish. The large chest features a 2-over-3 configuration, consisting of two short drawers over three full-width drawers, all with raised-panel moulded fronts. The matching nightstands each contain two drawers with similar moulded detailing. The pieces are finished with rounded bullnose edges to the tops and bases, and the drawers are fitted with turned wooden mushroom-style knobs. Internal inspection reveals machine-cut dovetail joinery to the drawer sides. The units are supported on turned wooden bun feet. No manufacturer marks or labels are present on the exterior or interior surfaces.
Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
