A mid-20th century three-compartment display cabinet / bookcase of utilitarian design. The unit is constructed from oak veneers over a secondary wood or composite core, featuring fixed vertical dividers that create three equal-sized sections. Each compartment is fitted with internal grooves for sliding glass doors, although the unit is currently incomplete. The back panels exhibit a pronounced horizontal grain, and the frame is finished with a simple rectangular profile and a slight overhang at the top edge. The design is characteristic of mid-century British haberdashery or shop display furniture. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the interior or exterior surfaces.
