Lot 971: A Solid Pine Sideboard with Three Drawers and Cupboard

This auction ended on 17 October 2026.

Start price: £20

Estimated price: £20 - £40

Buyer's Premium: 20%

A solid pine sideboard / storage unit featuring a functional combination of drawer and cupboard storage. The unit is constructed with a rectangular pine top exhibiting a rounded edge profile. To the left-hand side are three drawers, while the right-hand side comprises a cupboard section accessed by two panelled doors. The drawers and doors are all fitted with turned wooden “mushroom” style pull knobs. The cupboard doors are mounted on internal hinges, and the entire piece is finished in a medium-toned honey wax or lacquer. The natural knots and grain variations of the pine are visible throughout the construction. A handwritten tag attached to a drawer knob with twine reads “Solid Pine 3 Door 3 Drawer Unit Res. £20 – 00 2010”; while the tag indicates three doors, the unit physically presents with two doors and three drawers.

Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
