Lot 973: A Pine Dressing Table Stool with Upholstered Seat

This auction ended on 17 October 2026.

Start price: £3

Estimated price: £3 - £5

Buyer's Premium: 20%

A pine dressing table stool featuring a rectangular form with a padded, upholstered seat. The seat is covered in a light blue or seafoam green fabric with a subtle woven grid and textured dot pattern. The stool’s frame is constructed from solid pine with a clear finish, displaying a prominent natural grain and knots. The base features a scalloped apron on the long sides and is supported by four turned, tapered legs with ring-and-ball detailing. The joinery appears to be a standard dowel or tenon construction common to late 20th-century pine furniture. A handwritten paper tag is attached to the leg with string, bearing the numbers 2010 at the top and the handwritten words Pine Stool for dressing table below. No permanent maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the exterior of the wood.

Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
