A vintage 9 carat gold signet ring of classic form, featuring a plain rectangular tablet face integrated into a tapered shank. The ring is constructed from solid yellow gold and possesses a high-polished finish to the tablet face, which remains unengraved. The interior of the band is stamped with a comprehensive series of hallmarks including the maker mark LS&Co in a rectangular cartouche for Levi and Salaman. Further punch marks include the fineness mark 9 and .375 denoting 9 carat gold, an anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office, and a lowercase date letter in a shaped cartouche.
