Lot 95: An 18 Carat Gold and Diamond Cluster Ring
A diamond cluster ring featuring a marquise-shaped head set with multiple round brilliant-cut diamonds in a white metal setting, mounted on an 18 carat yellow gold band. The head is designed with a central vertical row of three diamonds, flanked by pairs of diamonds and single accent stones at the points to form a cluster of approximately eleven stones. The setting features a pierced openwork gallery to the shoulders. The interior of the band is struck with several marks, including an incuse ’18CT’ indicating the gold purity. Beside this is a separate stamped mark reading ‘272’. Other smaller marks are present but are too worn to be clearly identified. The band is a traditional D-shape profile in yellow gold.
