A weathered cast stone figural garden planter, moulded in the form of a bust depicting a bearded man. The figure is designed in a rustic folk-art style, featuring a heavily textured, flowing beard and a buttoned waistcoat, with hands held towards the chest. The crown of the head is open to provide a deep, circular planting vessel. The piece is constructed from cast concrete with a textured surface finish. A white adhesive auction label is attached to the rim reading 126. No maker’s marks or manufacturer’s names are legible on the exterior surfaces.
