A pair of large twin-handled earthenware vases, each featuring an ovoid body, short flared neck, and a spreading pedestal base. The vases are constructed with two integrated handles arching from the shoulder to the rim. The exterior surfaces are finished in a mottled, textured reddish-pink glaze with a matte appearance, while the interiors are coated in a plain white glaze. Decoration consists of a hand-painted geometric band around the shoulder executed in dark green and gold-toned pigments, featuring repeating triangles and a zigzag motif. The upper rim and foot of each vessel are further detailed with dark green borders. One vase is presented containing an arrangement of artificial orchids. No maker’s marks or backstamps are visible to the ceramic bodies; a handwritten paper label is attached to one rim reading ‘PAIR MATCHING VASES 18″ 45789’.
