A vintage Canon CanoScan N670U color image scanner, housed in its original retail packaging. The device is a flatbed model featuring a Contact Image Sensor (CIS) and is presented with a blue top cover. The exterior of the box identifies the model as ‘CanoScan N670U’ and ‘COLOR IMAGE SCANNER’, prominently displaying the ‘Canon’ brand name in red. According to the technical specifications printed on the packaging, the scanner offers a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi with 48-bit input depth. The interface is via a single USB connection, which provides both data transfer and power, eliminating the need for a separate power cable. It features an advanced ‘Z-lid’ expansion top cover designed for scanning bulky items. The box also bears a ‘Canon Solutions’ logo and lists compatibility with legacy operating systems, including Windows XP, Me, 98, 2000, and Macintosh OS 8.6 to OS X in Classic mode. A white adhesive label with the handwritten number ‘477’ is applied to the front of the box.
