A length of heavy-duty three-strand natural fibre rope, likely manila or hemp, integrated with a segment of rusted steel chain. The assembly features a large steel U-shackle at one end, which is missing its threaded pin, and a smaller segment of finer-gauge chain attached to the primary linkage. The rope is of thick gauge, suitable for industrial, nautical, or agricultural applications. A paper adhesive label is wrapped around the body of the rope, which bears a printed "Lot 042" sticker from "HCP Auctions South West" and handwritten purple ink inscriptions reading "APPROX", "20ft", and "with chain".
