An antique English copper tea kettle of traditional form, featuring a cylindrical body with a hammered martelé finish. The construction exhibits visible planishing marks throughout the shoulder and side walls. It is fitted with a fixed overhead bronze or brass handle secured by large flattened rivets, incorporating a turned wooden grip for insulation. The swan-neck spout is cast and brazed to the main body. The matching recessed lid is topped with a circular knob finial over a decorative stamped base. The vessel displays a dark, aged patina with areas of natural oxidation. A small pink adhesive inventory label is present on the shoulder, and a circular stamped motif is visible at the base of the lid finial, though it does not contain legible text.
