The collection comprises a large oval serving platter, a gravy boat with a matching underplate, a large open serving bowl, two circular lidded tureens, and a quantity of dinner and side plates. Each piece is constructed from translucent white china with transfer-printed decoration. The underside of the pieces bears a printed backstamp featuring a lion atop a crown within a circular border, surrounded by the words MADE IN ENGLAND, ROYAL DOULTON, and ENGLAND.
