A Pro-One two-piece snooker cue, featuring a tapered shaft of straight-grained ash. The butt is constructed from a dark polished wood, likely rosewood, decorated with a traditional four-point hand-spliced design accented by a single light wood veneer. The two sections are joined by a mid-point brass screw-thread joint. Included with the cue is a matching black finished extension, which threads into the base of the butt. The set is housed in a rectangular black hardshell carrying case with three metal latches and a fitted interior lined in red velvet-effect padding. Inside the case is a handwritten white adhesive paper label reading ’62 PRO-ONE R25*’ and a smaller printed auction lot label reading ‘HCP Auctions South West Lot 574’. Two cubes of cue chalk are present in the accessory compartment, one in teal and one in red.
