A large group of transfer-printed earthenware dinner and tea wares from the late 19th century. The collection is decorated throughout with a sepia-toned floral and scroll border pattern, featuring central floral sprays on a cream-coloured ground. The service includes various forms such as a stack of dinner plates, a large cushion-shaped lidded tureen, a circular two-handled lidded tureen, and a small rectangular open serving dish. The teaware components consist of a lidded teapot, a lidded sugar bowl with twin handles, a cream jug, a gravy boat, and multiple teacups with matching saucers and side plates. The pieces exhibit characteristic Victorian shapes, notably the scalloped rims on the saucers and the foliate-moulded handles on the tureens and pouring vessels. No maker’s marks or backstamps are visible on the undersides or exteriors in the provided images.
