A pair of ceramic preserve jars modelled as the character Windy Miller from the Camberwick Green stop-motion television series. The figures are fashioned as figural character pots with removable lids formed by the character’s head. One figure is depicted holding a woven basket containing apples, while the other holds a straw beehive featuring a painted bee motif. Both figures are presented in the character’s signature attire, including a broad-brimmed brown hat, a blue smock, and a white apron. The jars are constructed from glazed earthenware with hand-painted details over a moulded body. The base of one jar bears a black transfer-printed mark within a rectangular frame featuring a central image of a windmill; the mark is inscribed WINDMILL arched over the image, with the text THE WINDMILL BAKERY printed below. These jars were produced as promotional items for the Windmill Bakery during the mid to late 20th century.
