A late Victorian oak occasional table from the Jacobean period fashion. The rectangular solid wood top is designed with a raised gallery edge to all four sides, terminating in turned wooden finials at each corner block joint. The table is supported by four distinctive barley-twist legs, also known as Solomonic pillars, which transition into square-section blocks both at the top junction and the feet. The piece features a dark-stained finish throughout. No manufacturer marks or labels are present on the wooden structure.
