A collection of wooden oars and sculls of various lengths and styles, constructed from solid wood. The assortment includes a pair of oars with natural light wood finishes and wide, flat blades, one of which retains remnants of light blue paint. Another oar features a dark-stained finish with a narrower, more pointed blade. The fourth item is a shorter scull or oar with a rounded blade. The shafts are of traditional rounded construction, showing historical features such as protective leather or material wrappings at the button area, and one shaft incorporates a blue-coloured metal collar. The shortest oar bears an inscription on the blade in hand-painted or burnt-in capital letters reading “ESXCETA”, with a numerical mark “1” visible below. One longer shaft also shows fragmented handwritten blue ink markings that are largely illegible.
