Lot 90: A Wrought Iron Railing Section with Basket Twist Balusters
A wrought iron railing section, likely intended for a staircase or balcony installation. The section features a series of vertical balusters connected to horizontal top and bottom rails. Each baluster is formed from square-section iron with a decorative twisted profile, interrupted by a central basket-twist (caged) knop. The construction is solid metal with visible welded joins. One end of the top rail terminates in a right-angled return, designed as a mounting bracket with a pre-drilled fixing hole. The railing is finished in black paint over the entire surface. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or legible manufacturer labels visible on the ironwork.
Total Length: 350.5 cm (approx. 138 inches).
