Lot 972: A Modern Pine Low Open Bookcase / Shelving Unit
A modern pine low open bookcase / shelving unit of wide rectangular form. The piece is constructed with a decorative bridge-top upper rail featuring a central arch and rounded side profiles. The interior is divided into four equal storage compartments by three fixed vertical uprights, all finished with a solid enclosed back panel. The unit is crafted from light-coloured wood, likely pine, with a visible grain and a clear varnished finish. It is designed to sit directly on the floor or as a top-mounted shelf for a larger piece of furniture. A small white rectangular adhesive label is present on the upper left-hand divider, though it does not contain a maker’s name.
Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
