Two decorative wall items, comprising a large acrylic painting on board and an ornate framed mirror. The painting, executed in a vibrant African Tingatinga style, depicts a crowded market scene with stylized human figures, woven baskets, and tropical fruits. The composition is dense and utilizes a bold palette of primary colours with strong black outlines. It is housed in a simple, narrow dark wooden frame. The accompanying rectangular mirror is set within a wide, deep-relief frame featuring a repeating foliate and floral scrollwork pattern. The frame is hand-painted in a palette of green, red, ochre, and brown tones. No maker’s marks, signatures, or inscriptions are visible on the face or frame of either piece.
