Lot 718: A contemporary three-drawer pedestal chest in a beech-effect finish
A modern three-drawer office or bedroom pedestal chest, dating from the late 20th or early 21st century. The unit is constructed from composite board with a light beech-effect laminate finish. The three drawers are mounted on side-fitted metal runners and the drawer boxes are finished in a matching laminate. The unit is fitted with three arched, bridge-style handles in a matt silver-toned finish. No manufacturer labels or maker’s marks are present.
Condition report:
Fair condition. There is significant chipping and loss to the laminate at the bottom front corner of the left-hand side panel. General surface marks, minor scuffs, and dust are present throughout, consistent with use in an office or utility environment.
