Lot 906: A late 20th-century Regency-style mahogany-stained side table
A Regency-style side table of late 20th-century manufacture. The piece is constructed from mahogany-stained hardwood and features a shaped demilune top with a moulded edge. Below the top is a single frieze drawer fitted with a circular brass knob handle. The table is supported by four turned legs, with the front two legs featuring inset oval brass medallions at the shoulders. The legs are joined by a shaped lower tier or shelf. An illegible circular black stamp is present on the reverse of the back panel.
Condition report:
The table is in used condition. The top surface exhibits numerous scratches, scuffs, and areas of clouding or water marks to the finish. Small green paint splashes are visible on the legs. The brass hardware shows minor tarnishing. The structure remains sound.
