Lot 945: A Mid-Century Modern Tan Leather Tufted Ottoman by H.C. Hanley Colchester Ltd
A mid-century modern square upholstered footstool or ottoman finished in tan leather. The top features a four-button tufted surface and piped edges. The piece is supported by four black twin-wheel castors. To the underside, the item retains a manufacturer’s label for H.C. Hanley Colchester Ltd. The underside lining is secured with metal tacks. An auction lot tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms is present on one side.
Condition report:
The leather shows signs of age-related wear, including scuffing and minor finish loss at the corners and along the piped edges. The underside lining exhibits mottled staining and spotting. The manufacturer\'s label is present with some lifting to the edges.
