Lot 310: An Assortment of Cut Lead Crystal Glassware including Stuart Crystal
A collection of approximately 25 items of cut lead crystal table and decorative glassware. The lot comprises a variety of forms including wine goblets of differing sizes, champagne flutes, tumblers, and small decorative vessels such as bud vases or votive holders. The pieces exhibit traditional English cutting patterns, notably deep diamond cross-hatching, vertical fluting, and multi-point star-cut bases. One group of wine glasses features faceted, notched stems. A small globular vessel bears an original dark rectangular adhesive label with white lettering for Stuart Crystal. The remaining items are unsigned but are consistent in quality and style with high-end British lead crystal production.
