Lot 499: An Assortment of Vintage Advertising Tins and Desk Accessories
An assortment of vintage items comprising advertising tins, a wooden pencil case, a set of darts, and a wooden money box. The collection includes a Victory-V Gums and Lozenges metal confectionery tin with a red and black lithographed design, featuring the text For Cold Journeys and a circular press-fit lid. Also included is an Ogden’s Redbreast Flake hinged tobacco tin featuring a robin illustration, and a rectangular tin with a floral and checkerboard design embellished with golden candelabra motifs. The lot features a traditional wooden pencil case with a sliding lid containing several pens and pencils, including a pencil marked British Cumberland. Completing the set is a trio of brass-barrelled darts in a plastic case and a square wooden money box with a printed grain finish and a top coin slot.
