A Portmeirion Botanic Garden pattern Versailles shaped vase, constructed of white glazed earthenware. The vessel features an oval flared rim and stands on a pedestal base. The body is decorated with transfer printed botanical motifs, specifically the Convolvulus Trailing Bindweed with blue and yellow flowers. Accompanying insects include swallowtail butterflies, a moth, and a dragonfly. The foot is encircled by a continuous green laurel leaf border. The base bears the black transfer printed Portmeirion shield mark inscribed The Botanic Garden circa 1818.
